The 2016-2017 season kicked off with tryouts that were held on Monday August, 29th. We had around 30 players show up this year, some returning and some trying out for the first time. The tryouts consisted of 2 scrimmages between the white team and the dark team. One was held on Monday and one was held on Wednesday. After final cuts the roster is trimmed down 24 with 4 players red shirting. This years turnout is a testament to the clubs recent upward trend and gives optimism for Spartans and fans alike.
